cSCAN 6000-C

Chatsworth Data Corporation has designed and manufactured data capture equipment since 1971.

The cSCAN 6000-C image scanner was specifically developed to support Point of Sale (POS), gaming/lottery and other commercial data capture applications that require a more robust design. The small footprint, lightweight, and portability of this scanner lends itself well for use on retail counters, gaming windows, workstations, desktops, etc.

The application interfaces is TWAIN, with the cSCAN API. The TWAIN also interfaces with many third-party software applications. With application software the grayscale or black/white image can be accessed from the cSCAN API buffer and may be saved to the processed as a bmp, tiff, jpg, etc. file format.

In addition to the raw data file the scanner API will support the scanning of existing OMR forms with a traditional timing track and either .250in. or 5mm center to center spacing of the marking bubbles. The resulting output is converted to a data string and passed to your application.

The cSCAN 6000-C has an A6 form path. Accessibility is utilized via a hinged design which allows total access to the rollers and lenses for cleaning and other preventative maintenance operations.

The cSCAN 6000-C comes standard with a simplex read-head. A duplex unit is also available.

The cSCAN 6000-K scanner has a paper path that is easily accessible for clearing jams and cleaning the optic head. A simple hinged connection allows the upper assembly to open for complete access to the paper path.
